LATEST UPDATE REGARDING THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY HERE ON PEI

BUILDING PEI ONE DAY AT A TIME
Please see the EMAIL received late last night from the Provincial Health and Wellness Department regarding currant construction projects and services
Hi Sam. I assume you're calling about the comments Dr. Morrison made in her press conference today. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see it yet. However, I can tell you that my original comments to you, and the letter I provided, are still accurate. Current construction projects can continue, but it is important for every contractor to consider if the job they are doing is essential. If not, it is recommended that they consider postponing the job until transmission of COVID-19 is no longer a threat to themselves and their employees. Contractors who continue with their current projects are strongly encouraged to ensure their employees practice social distancing and frequent hand washing/sanitizing. Frequency of cleaning and sanitizing of vehicles (door handles, steering wheel, etc.), tools and other equipment on the job site must also be enhanced.
If you have any questions let me know.
