Here it is Friday again and we are sending
out our weekly Construction Zone newsletter.
Again, this week has been a very busy,
informative and productive week. We continue to move forward working with our
partners in many government agencies, other groups and associations to improve
and promote construction as well as help us make the changes to provide a safer,
healthier jobsite that allows positive advancement and production. We are
stressing the importance of the continuation of putting projects out to tender
and the continuation of existing projects, along with the preparation of building
permits that will allow us as a industry to hit the ground running when the PEI
Chief Health Officer gives us the green
light. I have also heard from many in the industry regarding supply, labour,
programs and the future of construction and asking when, what and how and a few
other concerns.
Keep an eye out as we work with many
partners to bring important information to you, our members, and the industry virtually
in the coming days and weeks.
We are still “BUILDING PEI ONE DAY AT A TIME “and facing challenges
daily/hourly to maintain our sites,
projects and people. With the number one thing being the safety of our workers and
their families.
It’s through continued support and
partnerships from our employees, managers, supervisors, owners and governments
that we are able to keep building PEI.
Keep up the great work and let’s continue
to make things better for all.
As we move forward we continue to share the
latest information provided to us by The Chief Public Health Officer and her
office and as we send out emails we also recommend for you to follow our updates
on the CAPEI web page our Facebook and Twitter
pages
Stay safe and keep “BUILDING PEI ONE DAY AT
A TIME “
